Overview
Château de Montcaud has 29 rooms and suites in different categories. From the Classic room to the Suite Collain, named after the founder of the chateau, to La Maison, a private holiday house, there is something for everyone, and all rooms are unique. However, they all share a clean design and quality furniture.
Binational teamwork
Swiss interior designer Iria Degen’s project design was expertly implemented by our local interior architect Sophie Petit. Together, they both managed to perfectly capture and distill the essence of the rooms, which have ceilings that are up to 4.9 metres in height.
Silk: the (un)common thread
Soft, natural colours lend the rooms an elegant air and perfectly complement the sunlight that streams in through the windows. A decorative silk panel is set above the bed, paying tribute to Alexandre Eugène Collain, the silk trader who built Château de Montcaud.
Comfort meets elegance
Every room offers unique views of the surrounding park. The spacious bathrooms with rain showers, large mirrors and, in some cases, chandeliers, offer guests comfort and relaxation. Insulated walls and a modern ventilation system ensure that the indoor climate is pleasant, regardless of the season.
The perfect family holiday
Our Duplex Suites are perfect for your family holiday with their two bedrooms and a lot of shared space for the whole family. Complimentary baby cots are available for babies and toddlers under three years old. For older children, we are happy to provide extra bed. In the Privilege room category, it is also possible to book two connecting rooms. Extended families can also book the whole floor in “Le Mas”: l’Appartement and two Classic rooms are connected by a private corridor. For those seeking the independence of a private home, La Maison offers the comfort of a fully furnished home with all the hotel’s services on request.
