From a young age, Sandra Lampée-Baumgartner dreamed of going to France. And from a young age, her passion for hotels grew. Naturally, she later combined the two and after training at the Hotel Management School in Vienna, she worked in the finest boutique hotels in Paris, and most recently as General Manager at the Grand Hôtel de l’Opéra in Toulouse.

A successful balance

Sandra has been Directrice at Château de Montcaud since September 2023. As such, she has taken over the operational management from Rolf and Andrea Bertschi, members of the château’s owning family, who are now devoted to the strategic direction of the hotel in Provence. The charming hostess knows our region like perhaps few French people and is happy to give excellent tips: from a romantic place for a picnic to small producers of excellent wines.
