Récolte de lavande dans la Provence sur le titre du magazine culturel suisse « DU »

Rediscovering Provence – “DU”, a Swiss magazine for all things cultural

What do you think of when you see or smell lavender? The tart plant with its characteristic scent will evoke certain memories or associations in many of us. As such, the south of France, Provence to be more precise, and the iconic lavender plant are firmly connected to each other.

A cultural magazine just for you  – and us
Maybe the above-pictured drone-image of a lavender harvest found its way into your consciousness during the month of June? Then you have probably come across an issue of the Swiss cultural magazine “DU” in German-speaking Europe. The picture adorns the title of the June issue of the magazine. “DU” is a print publication, which stands out by drawing wonderful portraits of well-known or less well-known places, people and things and illuminating sides of them like hardly anyone else does.

Focusing on a little known corner of Provence
You probably do not think of the Vallée de la Cèze when you think of Provence. But we do, very much. And luckily, so did “DU”. We are very proud to fill several pages in the June issue of the cultural magazine: our iconic park, the wonderful surroundings, our neighbours and your host – Rolf Bertschi. Read an interview with him below (in German), and afterwards, we recommend that you order a copy of the magazine online, here.

Le magazine culturel Suisse « DU » a parlé au directeur général du Château de Montcaud, Rolf Bertschi sur son engagement.
