The luxury of simplicity
Situated in the heart of a large park which features a number of iconic trees, the Château de Montcaud is the perfect hideaway for gourmets and pleasure-seekers who appreciate sleek elegance and extraordinary gastronomy. Ideally located between Avignon and Uzès, the estate was first established in 1848 as a private residence of a silk manufacturer. It was converted into a hotel in the nineteen-nineties, granting the public access to this magical property in Provence, South of France. After a second renovation, the chateau hotel reopened in the summer of 2018, and today houses a five-star boutique hotel, Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant Le Cèdre de Montcaud as well as casual Bistro de Montcaud. Two meeting-rooms, a heated pool, a tennis court and two boules pistes add to the offer of this true oasis of tranquility, style and excellent gastronomy delighting gourmets and those seeking relaxation.

Our Bistro de Montcaud welcomes you daily for lunch and dinner. Our Michelin-starred restaurant Le Cèdre de Montcaud will be open for dinner only, from Tuesday to Saturday from 1st May.
